Glowing in full glory
Replete with desires,faith and hopes
O'SUN YOU RISE ON

Heralding a newness
of fresh goodness
O'SUN YOU RADIATE ON

A tireless endeavour
To brighten sagging spirits
O'SUN YOU REFLECT ON

You battle on endless
Try not to set
O'SUN UNDAUNTED YOU HANG ON

You break free
Only to rise on another horizon
O'SUN YOU SHINE ON

But then ALAS!
Wisps of ugly moods eclipse
Your sheen
You  look weak,beaten
Please dont be so
Do glow
Shoo away those devils
Swat those erring intruders
Emerge gracious
Enchanting once again
O'SUN GLOW ON

YOU are every humans pillar of strenght
We emulate you
Your character to recede
And come back brighter than ever
To rise radiate,reflect,shine,glow

This poem I had written in response to the most alluring photograph of the sun clicked by a very dear freind of mine.the words just poured out...the sun is always an inspiration to me.

BAGEL TRAIL

Woke up in the morning,craving for freshly baked bagels and expressed to my best pal that we need to indulge in a bagel breakfast.She complied n we set off.I was about to open the car door assuming we were driving to the place when my freind announced that we would be walking to it to get a bit of exercise.Imagining that the place would be just round the corner i walked along with a big anticipatory smile on my face only to get it wiped off as my pal kept walking along n finally said that it would take an hour to reach Bagel Hole n boop !my spirits dropped,only to be revved up cos before my eyes picturesque paths unfolded, the weeping willows the maples the firs, the pine tress(those that remind me of christmas) and varied other flora n fauna,freshly bloomed multitude of colorful exotic flowers greeted us,i got drenched in unpolluted cascades of green interspered by a plethora of differnt kinds of homes like the cape cords, renovated barns,the colonials ,ranches other contemprary homes
